While I hadn't thought about that beforehand, and see your pont, I would disagree that it's as large a percentage as you believe. I very rarely commented on SA over the last few years but checked almost every day to learn from Chowdah, Ron, and others. And Chowdah himself has stated he's helped multiple people who privately message him who read the blogs but never comment.

I plan to be slightly more active here but am following wherever Chowdah and Ron go as while all online group communication mediums have pros and cons they're all easy enough to adapt to for me.

I'm one of those lurkers. Although I've been on SA for a number of years and commented (infrequently) on previous versions of the blog (e.g., Chowder's), I hardly commented on Ron's blog at all. To be honest though, seems to me that participation should count for something re. the free upgrade. I have no heartburn over being excluded from that (ironically, I paid for the upgrade just days before the offer anyway). Frankly, when I first saw Daniel's offer I thought it was a joke. I'm just thankful for all the free advice and commentary provided through the blogs while they lasted.
