Jacob's response is eerily reminiscent of the scene in the Matrix Reloaded, where NEO finally penetrated the Matrix Architect’s office filled with video screens, and elicited his explanation for what is happening and why. The same unbridled haughty arrogance demonstrated by the architect in the movie, is on display in the response you are about to read.
