You are correct. However, if you bought you LGND on margin the return on the stock is magnified by the leverage and the ratio changes. In fact, if you buy LGND with the same degree of margin as is embodied in LGNDW, the ratio will be 1.0, except as may be slightly modified by that difference in interest cost which has been so widely argued in recent days.
