Re: Middle Age Portfolio -- CEF's

Distributions are collected and reinvested selectively to build other positions.

As far reliable payment schedules I've only had two distribution cuts the last couple of years but the yields were still north of 5% after the cuts. I've had many more equity dividend cuts the last couple of years than I have CEF's.

I do have a couple of CEF's that pay a variable dividend like ETF's do but over the year I'm still getting all or most of all the distribution. The income produced by CEF's continues to rise so far.

This has actually been a very good year for distribution increases and I mean LARGE increases which makes sense with the market at all-time highs and the funds have been taking profits which they share with us.
