I keep thinking this year has passed so quickly yet April 24 now seems like eons ago :-)

I missed the CSPR sale but that turned out to be not a problem.

Gold will shrink if the stockmarket hits hard, but as the inflation starts hitting, gold will take off, it will almost be unstoppable.

I have been looking at this page.

Margin Statistics | FINRA.org

The site has previous months and years. I am thinking if they are going to have to taper, that margin number will be drained down to below previous levels. In other words a 50% haircut or more.

What would that do to stock prices? It will change the perspective and the thinking where a downtrend could actually ensue, and that has not happened in a long time.

So I am keeping some powder dry, in the full knowledge it might be worth a lot less in the future. It is a trade off for the best way to deal with the risks.

I am looking to buy more, but happy to see things just take off from here too. Just I doubt that will likely happen as things stand. Just my narrow view though.
