FWIW, the last time I donated, I did faint at the top of a flight of stairs....and fall half way down.

That's why I stopped in spite of wanting to continue.

I always fainted for a week after donating blood. Usually, it was no bid deal. However, coming to grips with possible death kind of soured me on the whole ordeal. My kids still needed help with their homework assignments.

Was just reading that my old homeland has the highest vax rate in the EU.....93%, followed by Portugal at 92%. So proud of my tribe I left behind but it's not a surprise. A big part of our culture is to do what's best for the collective and sacrifice individually for that good. It's why Ayn Rand and any of her acolytes were always looked upon with a cold eye and deeply untrusted. Besides, we have a lot more gifted and insightful writers to choose from amongst our own :-)
