I think a one party system is the worst option. What we need is leadership willing to shrink the government. Unfortunately, that goes against what’s the greatest ambition for most of them… which is mo power. They’re attracted not to serving, but to ruling.

I am not in favor of age limits. I just think that we need fewer big bosses in their 70’s and 80’s, and more folks who are (roughly) >35 and <70.

There are both advantages and risks associated with age, from a voter’s point of view. Look at the current guy. Even RR, one of the greatest presidents ever - during the contra hearings, in the later part of his 2nd term, was able to say - honestly - that he had no recollection about some of the things he was asked. Dems claimed that he was lying, but I remember looking at his face on TV, and I could see he was worried.
