Win98 with ACPI-compatible hardware (LX and BX).>>
OK, I'll bite. What's APM and when would you expect the BX chipset out. Does it include any other advances or performance increases? Later,

>>Wake on ring is a feature that is supported on current hardware only on Win95 with APM<< I beg to differ. My last two IBM's (a two yr old ThinkPad and a three week old Aptiva mini tower) both support 'Wake on ring' independently of the Win95 APM (advanced power management). In fact, two years ago Microsoft tech support told me the Win95's APM had to be turned off to avoid conflicts with the ThinkPad's more advanced (at that time) hardware APM. As ubiquitous as Intel and Microsoft are, they are not the only innovators contributing to the feature set of computers. Thank goodness. : )
