Thank you for helping. I think what Im wanting is to just find out where I left off reading when I leave for the day. Probably just as simple as backing up the pages until I find posts that are already read. Appreciate helping me muddle thru this. Ill get there!

RE: Marking the current message as last read does exactly what it sounds like. Everything below in the list will now be in gray and everything above will be blue for unread.

=> That's interesting 'cause the color change does not happen for me[1] ... I get bounced to the list of subject marks. If I return to a conversation, only the comments I explicitly clicked on have changed color[2].

1. I use Firefox 94.
2. To compensate, I click on "Dividend Growth Investing and chit chat" then click on the last comment, and only then click on mark as last. It's a clunky process but it visually marks where I left off.
