My last trip through Wickenburg there was snow on the saguaros. My sister hiked all day in the heat down near Phoenix and had a heart attack the next day. Dehydration is bad news.

That is one creepy clip.

I've had to carry our dogs down the mtn on several hikes, in moderate climes (40+ pound dogs, 80F temps too), so I don't see dogs succumbing to temps/exertion as unusual :)

Death Valley later than March is masochism. If you rode down south I have nothing (advise) to offer :)

I really need to watch that entire movie....have only seen clips!
