"I can't say much about the GOP" You don't have to; there are 2 sides, liberal and conservative, and you've made it pretty clear that you're not a liberal. "I consider myself an "independent."" When you spend 50% of your venom on conservatives, you'll be an independent. Until then, you're an intellectually dishonest conservative, playing the word games you pretend not to play.
