Didn't they initially decrease? Then they increased when businesses started opening, and when people stopped staying at home 24/7. It's easier to smash a store that's open, and has something in display cases than it is a store that is closed and empty. It's easier to invade a home when nobody's there. It's a simple concept, but apparently several feet over your head.

Yup. Show them on TV, and somebody will say, "Now why didn't I think of that?" They won't stop until police catch them, and prosecutors and judges put them in jail.
