Today, a form 4 filing was published with the SEC. It shows that Hal Sternberg, VP and director of BioTime, purchased 3,000 shares in the open market on January.

Thanks Todd, your post was very interesting.

I noticed that Hal Sternberg filed a 13D in Sept 97, but it only indicated he held less than 5% of the company. Is he, as a director, subject to filing a Form 4 for any change in his BTIM ownership under SEC 16(a)?

Is the same true for any director or officer of the company? Would there be any SEC filing if the margined shares (mentioned in my last posts) were to be sold by Montgomery Securities in a margin call?

Thx,
Steve
