I find the people on SI to be a little more friendly as well. I very rarely see a food fight and it's nipped in the bud and not allowed to go on in moderated threads. I like that as well. They do prefer to stay on topic here though. I know in years past when I was here no off topic comments were allowed during the week and on the weekend you had to start off your comment with ... Off Topic ... so that others could skip over if they chose. I know I prefer to stay on topic but what others do is up to them as far as I'm concerned. There are threads here on SI that are not moderated so anything goes and people are free to hit the ignore or ban button. My thread is moderated though, no trolls will be allowed. I see where one person coming over from SA has already been Banished from SI after 3 comments. Wow! I wonder what he did.
