I just sold the last half of my ASND feb 30 calls for 3 1/2. With two weeks left to expiration, I'll take the profit without the risk. Seen far too much happen in the last week ot two of options trading to stomach a rideout to the end for more profit.

Hal

glenn, your comments on reading the options tea leaves when you notice a pattern, and discussing your interpretation adds a dimension to viewing asnd. i hope you continue with theses observations, and explaining in terms us non-options people understand.

do not translate a lack of comments on your post as a lack of interest on what you observe.

Note the locked market on the 30s. The market makes have been doing this a lot for the last few days. The
market makers are short the calls as is typical and would prefer ASND to close close to 30 by next
expiration. There may be a bit too much buy pressure causing the stock to stay above 30 and my guess is
the market makers are trying to become less short on the 35 calls by offering them at the same price they
sell them. This will also encourage the buying of more 35s. My opinion only.

Glenn, it would help me, if you could be more detailed on these facts. My english has its holes, so I'm not shure if I get all the informations right.

Does the above mean, the market makers may wish 30, but they won't reach that goal?

I appreciate your input.

Thanks

Paul
