Re: Last read --

When you open the thread unread comments are in blue, read comments in purple. Easy peasy.

I don't log out of the site.

When I look at the list, I can see where I left off, because those posts are grayed out. So I start reading upwards from there.

I have stopped expecting (hoping) that a sense of "flow" will happen here. It's more of a hop-around, issue-by-issue type of place. I'd rather have the flow, but on the other hand, there's less running into cooking, boating, Buffalo Bills, and other off-topic stuff, so I guess that's an advantage.

"After, you log out of site and come back, how do you find the "Mark as last read" area?"

What I do is mouse over Subject Marks. It shows my subscribed Boards and how many unread posts since I last logged on for each. If I click on a Board, it takes me to the first unread post. Then I just start clicking "next 10" ands see what may interest me.
