Given the amount of money he manages, I do not think that Cramer can trade successfully on a day to day or even week to week basis. There's a real difference between persona and performance. He even admits that there are "people out there sitting at home on their computer" who have the flexibility to outtrade the market by a significant margin. With the few exceptions of CPQ and INTC, you can only be so large if you want to day trade in the market. For LSI, that's about 8000 shares in the current environment. Can you make a lot of money doing this. Absolutely. But for a fund the size of Cramer's or a giant like FMR, it's impossible. And that is one of the many reasons why a hard working investor/trader who knows the percentages and the market can easily outperform the market year in and year out.
