think of it this way.. the Fed deficit was projected to be retired by 2012.
I made no mention of SocSec funding the Fed budget.
what's the problem except for the logistics? you need to look at this going forward.
lets say that we didn't get the gBush2 f/u thing back then and we actually paid the deficit down. would you
not think that going forward taxes would then be replenishing the SocSec fund, instead of FedDef Interest?

Besides, all politics aside.. we had peace & prosperity by 2000.
I suppose you'll discount that as an aberration.
