Its not a default on credit, it is a renegotiation. This is not an uncommon business practice that B. Dalton was one of the first companies that I came across to use this as a routine way of handling their financial agreements with other companies. Other major book retail concerns then began to use this same business practice. Much is negotiated and renegotiated in business. If this surprises you, then you will be surprised at much that happens in business.

I do not agree with this practice. I am not saying that Amazon will pursue this approach. My statement was more of an observation of the impact Amazon must have with its supplies.
