I have been thinking about the damage from the tornadoes and the effects/recovery. As I posted here a couple weeks ago, utility equipment apparently is in short supply due to the shipping chaos. Recall that transformers that go on utility poles were backordered with a year backlog Now with the tornado path of 270 miles, I imagine it will take hundreds/thousands of replacements. How many homes were destroyed? HVAC systems, appliances, etc. How much of a hit will insurance companies take?
