Why is all of Washington, DC united in their hatred of Trump? 1. He was shutting down the gravy trains - particularly recycled foreign aid and defense expenditures. 2. He was smoothing out foreign relations, which hit foggy bottom and intelligence types directly in their self regard. 3. He was reinvigorating US domestic industry which was starting to oblige the financial types to be economically useful, not parasitical. 4. He was reforming immigration policy. No more cheap maids, gardeners and sex workers for professionals and others in the top 20% economic tier. 5. His policies favoured the well being of the bottom economic 80% and particularly the bottom 20%. 6. Generally, his policies were a rebuke to the professional classes and that's what Washington is all about: welfare for the professional classes and a mouthful of shit for everybody else. All around the OECD the capital city arrangements are similar. Therefore, any anti-Trump activity in Washington gets enthusiastic support in most capitals. Obviously, outfits like the CCP will support anti-Trumpism because it weakens the US in every way.
