Wharfie, I don't know what else she's doing to stop migration, but it takes a while to have an impact. She keeps talking about "root causes" of the immigration crisis, but she was never specific. It got to the point where "root causes" became her way of avoiding the issue. To be sure, though, the article you just posted is a counterexample. But I really don't think this initiative will have much of an impact. Just $540M won't even solve a fraction of the problems in Latin America. Sure; the left can get as pissed as the right. For instance, this didn't play real well with some. Don't you see the problem here? No leadership from her whatsoever. Even Harris subbing in for Biden for exactly 85 minutes is "big news."
