Re: Old Folk Portfolio ... As more dividends hit the portfolio today, I put them to work I added to the following companies: AEP .. AMGN .. LEG .. SJM. Today I was looking to add to what I refer to as mid-range dividend companies where combined they offer a respectable yield and dividend growth rate. These 4 positions combined (equally weighted) produce a 3.48% yield and 6.70% dividend growth rate. This provides a double digit Chowder Number of 10.28, very respectable. SO and TGT were trimmed today and those proceeds will be invested tomorrow.
