I re-read the NFGC news release of December 15 today... in light of subsequent history, or at least my greater awareness of it. The market in gold mining shares generally, appears it bottomed fairly decisively on December 15th... and I've been noting deviations from the usual trend in posting charts of stocks here recently...

I don't think NFGC's timing is what has fostered the pattern in other Newfiew stocks... as the same pattern seems to hold for all the gold miners...

But, NFGC's efforts in providing positive leadership in the Newfoundland Camp surely don't hurt... ?

Particularly interesting is NFGC "is also proceeding with arrangements with MSALABS to install a Chrysos PhotonAssayTM instrument in Newfoundland".

I think that resolving both "bottlenecks" and "QC concerns" in the assay work will go a long way to putting the wind back in the sails of the Newfie campers... The cost imposed by the long delays experienced in the last year or two is hard to quantify... but it has to be significant...
