Well-until I saw that you took #7000, I wasn't going to tell you this, but it was Thomas Wolfe who said, "You can't go home again."

There have been changes in Lexington, but not nearly in the drastic way there have been in the rest of the world and until Mother died, it was a wonderful place to take the boys to experience a way of life other than Dallas. It was very, very hard to sell my childhood home and my family knows I'm serious that I want to be taken "home" to be laid to rest. I don't believe in much, but just in case there are such a thing as ghosts, I want to make sure my spirit is somewhere beautiful and peaceful. We are talking eternity after all and can't afford to make a mistake.

As for my name- I'm tempted to make up something to entertain you-but find I can't, as I never lie-even online. I was merely Penelope Anne Chappell. My father being British may have influenced the decision. My best friend was Betty Stuart XXXXX, and she was called by both names. She was a descendent of Jeb Stuart. Lots of Confederate names occupy the middle position of young Southern children's appellations.
