FIELD ACTIVITIES / Tappit Reports Drilling Results ASE SYMBOL: TPT FEBRUARY 9, 1998 REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--Tappit Resources Ltd. announces that its recent well to test the Red River Formation near Kisbey, in southeast Saskatchewan, resulted in a dry hole and the well is being abandoned. Tappit also announces that it has a working interest in two deep wells currently being drilled on its recently acquired acreage in southeast Saskatchewan (see news release of January 26, 1998).
