J&J uses the same old technology as the Oxford Astrazeneca and the low-effectiveness Chinese vaccines used in Brazil. Many people find obsolete technology comforting, but they come with well-known problems like agglutination. Many nations like Brazil use the most affordable technology, irrespective of safety which leaves more money for their corrupt leadership. . Sadly for citizens of China, their government is holding off on approving the much safer, and far more effective, mRNA vaccines until local companies have finished creating their own versions. Although they're in the midst of testing their home-made mRNA vaccines, they've clearly encountered a problem which is leading the Chinese to seek "technology transfer" from western mRNA companies. Possibly China has been unable to fully miniaturize the billions of tracking and control chips they believe to be in each dose. Without this imaginary feature Xi can't push a control button reliably making all the Jay Chens to slap themselves in the face or punch their own noses to amuse himself and fellow Party members.
