The governing elites have a keen sense to smell the masses' mood. The woke masses are easy prey. It is a generational thing. You see the generations born from the 60s onwards that have not faced hardship. They have no idea what the nation-state can do. I am pessimist.This is going to get much worse before it gets better. When it involves humans it is hard to fathom outcomes. One of them could be the pendulum swinging to the opposite direction A revolt against the scientific establishment.Cut their money. Starve them of funds. Overall not looking good. The only thing positive sign is that we already see people openly not taking serious the last variant. That was unthinkable in the second half of 2020. Then people were refraining from saying they did not take Covid serious because they thought they could offend for people who had close people to them who have died of Covid. Now there is a feeling on the air like: No. This thing has gone too far. It is plain to see ordinary people are being taken for a ride here.
