Bill -- MRVC hasn't made a habit of wasting money. The marginal player/junky company concerns are, I feel, reflected in the price paid for Xyplex. I suspect that a diamond or two may be hidden in that particular gravel pit. And I don't think the purchase puts them in CSCO's path; more than likely it gives MRVC a dimension that they feel is needed.

Best regards,

Jeff

IMO, if MRVC never got 1 dollar in revenue out of Xyplex, the deal would still be an excellent deal due to the technology, hardware interfaces (which MRVC needed), engineers, sales staff, patents, etc.

But they are getting MUCH MORE than that.

And CSCO is not rampaging all over - they just tell that to the world. Their sales are mostly NA while MRVC has done mostly in Europe.

Plus Whittaker never made the most of Xyplex. This is a big plus for Xyplex too - just watch.
