Fortunately a large segment of the population is VACCINATED and that’s preventing hospitalization. Also, only 3% of the cases are Omicron right now. So, the jury is still out. My how you jump to conclusions so quickly.

Omnicron could be a good thing. If you had to design a vaccine/virus...Omnicron comes pretty close to what you would design. It spreads and overtakes other variants and it attacks and replicates much faster in the bronchial region vs Delta that attacks deep in the lungs and is far more dangerous.
So you get natural immunity with much milder symptoms.
