Immunity is on a scale...it is not black and white. Just because you got sick doesn't mean you dont have some protection.

And when you get sick again that quickly, its not that the memory is only lasting a few months, its that there a many different common colds and they mutate rapidly. Unless your immune system is broken which is possible.

Anyhow, I feel like you really want to fight the science here and just go with some gut feeling. So nothing really more worth saying...

How about 1.25 milligrams daily?
