He's been guilty for years. He's used his wealth and the job as POTUS to protect himself, pardoned his guilty conspirators. That's come to an end.

Letitia James ran on a platform of “I'll get Trump.” Newsmax (Greg Kelly) had a young girl on that's Trump lawyer against James. They played all the clips where James bragged about going after trump because he was from the other party. No other reason in many of the threats, and as you say she ran on i as a platform. It's a personal vendetta and it's crystal clear that what she is doing with her power and position is illegal.
