Gotta take the house and Senate next year. As Tenchusatsu just mentioned, we have to deal with the short memory of the public. Right now the Dems are allowing the R's to brag about a 7 to 10 point advantage in the generic polling. The Dems have no problem at all letting us win for the next 10 months. It's the 11th month that matters next year, and none of these polls matters one bit. We cannot believe our own bullshit and chest thumping. As we found out a year ago, the Dems have perfected election engineering and localized vote harvesting/manufacturing to a science. There is no place for complacence.
