What we are seeing in DC is an intentional withholding of rights by the jail operations under orders from, or with tacit approval from the judges. I have been vocal about my opposition to for profit jails but there is no doubt these problems are starting g with the judges. They know the bail requirements, the control the docket, and they know what reasonable punishments are for parading and trespassing. Two different problems. Both horrible and un-American. But one is caused by years of Democrat incompetence and the other is caused by Democrat non-adherence to the competition for political reasons. Can’t believe you led with that!
