I guess that's an easy mistake to make when criminals are a core constituency for your political party.

I am not nor have I ever been a member of the Democratic party.

You're conflating criminals with political protesters.

Your comment suggests that you think it OK to break the law if you do it for political reasons. I wonder if you think that applies as well to BLM protesters who get carried away and turn violent and destructive.

I know the difference even if you don't. A political protester marches outside carrying a sign and chanting. A criminal breaks and enters and assaults and destroys. I'm quite sure that no one is being charged with marching and sign carrying and chanting, only for criminal behavior.
