We are tracking like it's another El Nino winter like (1982-1983, or 2016 -2017) winter. Those were are biggest years in recent memory. Perhaps matched in the 1930s. or 1848 when the Donner party was stranded.

But this is not El Nino it's his sister La Nina which should be bringing dryness and cold to the Sierra. So I don't know what to think. However, I am not complaining. In fact its past time to gear up and head into the white hills yonder.
