I have a buddy in Portland, OR that has become very right wing over the last 5-6 years. It started after he bought his first gun, now he has many guns.....seems to get less caring about others with each new weapon. Last election he said that he gets a sheet from the NRA that tells him how to vote, I laughed, and thought he was pulling my leg... nope, he was dead serious. I said he was then a one issue voter, guns... he said "guess so..." I worry about him, he seems to be going down a dark hole. On the other end, I have a large group of black friends that hang out in the local park...super nice guys, but they are all armed. They are very afraid of all the young crazies in their neighborhoods with assault rifles, there are shootings virtually everyday....
