Well, these people might be in Chile for personal reasons which I won't get into. There are many and yes, they will likely leave and migrate to some other "accommodating" country.

It's a never ending game or so it seems.

Interesting tidbit - the attack on science started in 1953 - planned and executed and the tactic worked.
Tobacco laid out the template for much of what we see today.
