Let's not forget that it is was not long ago that Chile had Salvador Allende on the far Left, until he was deposed, by those from the ultra far Right, demonstrating the broad inconsistencies and country risk across Latin America. Good luck anywhere in South and Central America, I've been stung by those places too many times to be drawn back ever again. I can say the same too for central and south Asia, as well as eastern Europe. Good stories can turn bad very quickly in those places. I will risk Mexico and the rest of North America, of course, plus Australia. Having said that, political risks ain't all too attractive in Arizona these days either (especially near "Little Berkeley", aka Tuscon). VP in AZ
