should be interesting next week from a ta perspective.

50 dma is at 12.98 and the price is at 12 5/8, the last time volume was heavy we crossed the 50dma(1/29), then fell below again on low volume.

the last three days have been between the heavy and light volume, with friday showing less volume, but fridays generally show less volume.

norman--

it is true that WSTL and TXN are not as close ADI/AWRE, but i think this is really immaterial. TXN is going to sell chips to other companies, and i personally think it is an excellent idea. but, we will get good pricing on the chips we get, which will probably be better than our competitors are offered.

another point is that while TXN needs us, we can go to other vendors, like MOT. to my knowledge, we are TXNs biggest customer for xDSL dsps.
the only thing that compels TXN into giving WSTL an advantage is that we can move the chips, which means that their investment (buying AMTX) will pay off. that, IMHO, is a much better motivator than a piece of paper.

again, on the possiblity of contract cancellations...yes, it could happen, but it hasnt yet...and if there was anything in the pipe we would know about it by now. i think it is unwise to handicapp based on what might happen. it is much more realistic to work with what they have now.

good luck to all,
trey
