2026 - 2032 is happening, more or less on schedule, close-enough, and shall likely, based on momentum already built in, overcome likely obstacles

what is happening reminds me much of Asimov's Foundation series

I think China can do 35% of global GDP, and can gap ahead by ~30 years in STEM relative to all other domains

the definitive hurtles to overcome includes many, but none that cannot be resolved by application of arms and legs attached to brains

education and diligence shall come to the fore

legacy matter

successes simply follow, as a matter of course

the current big-do is semiconductors, and the battle is very interesting

once the battle decided, TeoTwawKi happens, 2026 +/-, and then follows Darkest Interregnum, 2032 +/-

other battles either done or just about done, or as good as done, or not needing doing.

going forward global cooperation would be nice, and best for all, but not necessary for decisiveness, imo

Fundamental / foundational stuff?

- leadership
- unity of purpose
- respect for teachers and elders
- diligence, and reward for diligence
- common prosperity
- absence of bs and canceling of spin, systemic attitude towards learning, per black and white cats, and mice
- language arbitrage

on this last point, language, not just about 'best' but also weight of numbers, and ecosystem for application

everything else a consequence of meritocracy

theory under testing, and the next few years shall be more interesting than the last few years, for sure
