Ha... Funny response. Thanks!

No, really I'm attempting to learn. Apparently there are longs here. I'm assuming these longs have done some analysis in order to take their positions. I have as well. My analysis says this is a short term play and that I should get out by Q3 98 at the latest. However I always seek as many opinions as I can.

So, Hitting my head on the hammer... No I don't think so. I am a short term long. The question is, does this horse have more in it beyond Q3 98. That's all. If this entertains you.. well then. I'm glad I could make your day :)

Gary

<..I am dumbfounded by this statement. What investing strategy do you follow? I don't really want to know, but it always appeared to me that the ideal use of these threads was promoting ones views and trading based on those views. You seem to me like the guy who hits himself over the head with a hammer because he likes how it feels when he stops. How low must YURI go before you stop hammering yourself?..>

In respect ferdc, I have to say I appreciate Gary's arguments and intent (if not his manners in unprovoked rudeness).

*I* view the purpose of the threads to be a place where all information about a stock can be shared. And though SI is a public forum, unfortunately too many posters seemingly view the comments made here as somehow affecting the stock price. Personally, I find this silly at best as well as counter-productive in it's reducing a potential fact finding collective into a religious wrestling "production".

Both before and after I go long, I LOOK to the thread for ANY negative stories I can finding, and attempt to confirm them for myself. I often already know the positives (with YURI, besides a good "whisper" number and other rumor tidbits, I didn't. Ergo, my "drivel"), and PREFER the negatives. I also look to those more knowledgable to exercise the points in the spirit of group discovery.

For instance, being significantly long WCII, I invite anyone interested in a double to triple (from HERE) in 12-18, to visit the WinStar thread, where I have actively solicited any negatives as yet unconsidered.

my 2 cents, anyway.

Thanks to all. I may re-enter after the traders are out and it settles in, as ther is still another short term "booster" IMO.
