Although I wouldn't word it the way you do Fred. I had and have been hoping to see some posts on this thread rating the capability of different types of scans. So far I haven't seen any. Therefore, instead of a challenge I suggest responders occasionaly post information on what types of scans are productive, and which are a waste of time.

Except Fred Thornburgh, if he wants to emphasize the competitive aspect of investing over the other aspects then he should be the first one to post his favorite scans and to explain why they are so good at make make money.

Fred,

The goal of most of us here is not promote trading systems or techniques but to share information on use of TA tools which
gives one the ability to create and understand your own trading systems. QP is not an elaborate system tester but metastock, wow, and techniflter certainly are. There is a thread called TA - Indicators and Systems where this stuff is more applicable. Since you brought up the subject why don't you contribute something and start the ball rolling....
