I never liked Michael Crichton as a person for some reason, but one has to admit, he wrote some amazing stuff. I liked "West World" starring Yul Brynner.

Here is one little factoid I never knew.

Westworld contains a reference to a computer virus, one of the earliest mentions of them in fiction. The analogy is made by the Chief Supervisor in a staff meeting where the spread of malfunctions across the park is discussed. [41]

In 1973 ... wow was he ahead of his time or what ?

So we have A.I. and robotics these days.

What could possibly go wrong? -g-

rip Michael Crichton, made some great movies, fiction and predictions.
