That doesn't strike you as unusual? Why would that even be a question? It has nothing to do with their culpability for the acts they carried out. They're being threatened with 20 year sentences for 3 month crimes. And the judges and prosecutors are working together to get these forced "confessions" out of them. You wouldn't have these people coming in apologizing, talking about feeling ashamed, etc. I've never seen that in a courtroom transcript. These assholes are being threatened with life in prison, effectively. They'd be giving out blowjobs to judges if necessary. Fool.
