Henry,
Recently we were discussing the needs of the big boys to replenish their money makers going off patent.In all of 1997, the FDA cleared 431 brand-name copies including Zantac and Coumadin. This was 80 more than the previous year. Maybe Ligand can help fill some of these voids. 39 of the approvals were "first time" generics.
