Rat is very skeptical of MMT. Like a lot of bright ideas that seem appealing and are being pushed by advocates, I'm waiting for a scholarly write-up of how it makes sense all things considered plus constructive criticism. Haven't seen the former yet let alone the latter, only the advocacy. Until it do, MMT remains in my air-headed pile.

Acid or not, but imagine a guy who managed to read a bible, and he became a true believer. Sounds great, doesn't it? It's my story - I used to be agnostic and I was very skeptical on MMT. And then the miracle happened - I got not the Bible, but much shorter and much easier to read book on MMT. I read it, and guess, what happened? I became a true believer in MMT. The whole process of conversion took like hour or two. If you are interested, I may find this book, but I accept no responsibility on possible consequences of your sudden conversion to MMT believer.
