Real World has this thing called the Law of Supply and Demand. We're gonna run afoul of that law, resulting in serious inflation.I think we're already seeing it with all the free money we've been handing out, beyond the supply chain issues.

Here is one secret hidden in plain sight:
Both parties love and accept MMT without having any real knowledge about it.

All of them love MMT, because their understating is that this theory allows to spend money like drunken sailor without thinking about deficit or inflation.

The difference is what they "spend money" on. The Rs spend it on tax cuts mostly for the top tax bracket people. Or perhaps better, they don't collect it, therefore they spend it on interest on the deficit that they accumulate. The Ds spend it on programs that at least try to help lower or middle income people.

Of course they both spend it on "defense". Because as everyone knows, it costs more and more to defend the US from the ROW.
