So they don't have anything because they didn't have have anything. I believe that's called a tautology.

You're back to if it's not a crime it doesn't matter.

You seem to have missed the point of creating the committee. It was to find out what happened wrt the transfer of power so it doesn't happen again. Which means that everything that happened (or didn't happen) is relevant, not just the Trump stuff and not just the criminal stuff. All the transfer of power stuff. Good governance requires that.
