>> I guess I wasn't clear. What I meant by Trumpcentric was that you live in a world in which Trump is the center of gravity; he defines your universe. It doesn't matter if the country survives, only that Trump survives to command whatever remains.

No, I knew what you meant. I was just stating that Trump is a centrist -- he comes with policy ideas that should accommodate both sides of the political isle.

I am not "trumpcentric" and he is not the center of gravity. It is just right now he is the only candidate running who fills a need for the country. I was also a supporter of Perot, recognizing you need a more forceful president putting forth free-market concepts like the ones that led to the vaccine in what we were told would "require a miracle" for two years, and he delivered one in about 8-9 months.

If Elon Musk were running he'd have my vote.

But Trump is the best we have. I do not want anymore lifetime bureaucrats. I do not want people who cut their teeth in Washtington DC. Or people who spent 30 years in politics. Sorry, it just isn't going to move the country forward.

You seem to think we "need" that experience in government. Bullshit. This isn't an attack on you, but business people understand a lot more about the world than government workers or assembly line workers.

I do not agree with the politics of a Steve Jobs. But if that person were running as a Democrat, I'd vote for him. Jobs, I'm pretty sure, was not Trump-centric. (I can assure you, however, he would have gladly worked with Trump had he still been alive).
